Cycling Gilet

After testing the first iteration of the vest, it was time to make the final version, updating it into a cycling gilet.
I adjusted the pattern to be slimmer all over, shortened the front length to accommodate a cycling position and lengthened the back for better coverage. The body fabric is Schoeller stretch twill with a DWR coating and nanosphere finishing for the best wicking and breathability while still remaining insulated.  The front pocket is a 2.5L waterproof printed fabric, with reflective zipper garages, and a reflective zipper. The back pocket is a stretch rip stop with a piece of reflective sewn under the bottom seam.  I’ve sent this off to one of my garment testers who said “I have no idea what magical fabric you used on that vest, but I’m in love.  I’ve worn it on the last 5-6 rides and it’s just perfect.  It blocks the wind just enough up front but breathes really well out back.  It freakin’ rules!”
